Mateo Melendez our Executive Director has been asked to lead an area-wide youth conference in Uganda. Mateo has over 25+ years experience in youth ministry and has a heart for young people to come into a saving knowledge with the Savior. As you can imagine, the ability of this ministry in Uganda to pay for the flights to and from Uganda would be a huge burden for the ministry. However, once they are on the ground everything else will be taken care of. Mateo and his teen son, Kaleb will be going to serve with a new ministry partner in Uganda, Pastor Wafula George. Pastor George is the overseer of 250+ church plants in the Uganda and surrounding region. Pastor George is the same pastor we have listed on Kingdom Footprint under "Current Needs" that does not have reliable transportation for visiting the pastors of the churches he mentors in a timely manner.
